John Pasche-
John Pasche designed the lips and tongue image for the Rolling Tones which has blown up so much that it isn't a logo for a band any more, it's more of a label. But I think it is very iconic to British music as the Stones have played a big part in the 60s rock scene.
Jamie Reid-
Jamie Reid was the designer of the sex pistols cover art. He was who made the ransom note style iconic to the British punk scene.
For the last letter I have chosen to use an Oasis logo style. I have decided on this because Oasis were a British band for British people. They were a band for the working class of Britain so I think this would be a great way to symbolise British music.
The mod style lettering on The Who logo is what I have decided to use for the second letter. I have decided to go with this because The Who played a big part in the British mod scene, and in my eyes, you don't get more British than that.
The Sex Pistols lettering style in a ransom note style is what I have decided to use for the first letter. I have decided to use this as I think The Sex Pistols have played a big part in the British punk scene.

I am going to decide on 3 different letter styles, 1 for each letter on the logo. I shall post them each separately and explain why I have decided to incorporate them into my design.
